- What happens if something goes wrong during transportation or processing? If there is a significant problem with your order during transportation or processing, contact us immediately. We will assess the situation and communicate the available solution based on the circumstances. Where a replacement is necessary and feasible under the circumstances, we will work with you on the appropriate resolution.
- Can I choose how the cattle is processed or packaged?Yes, where available. Different occasions may require different processing and packaging preferences. For example, you may have specific requirements for how the meat is cut, divided or packaged.
- Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?Yes. We understand that event plans can change. Any changes or cancellations should be communicated at least 24 hours before the delivery date
- What is the payment structure, and are there additional charges?Depending on your order, the total may include the cattle, delivery, slaughtering, and other agreed logistics. We’ll explain what is included and identify any additional charges upfront.
- How do I know the cow is healthy and suitable for consumption? All our cattle go through a routine check up by our veterinary doctor. And we will also confirm their state before delivery. The health and condition of the animal matter to us.
- Why should I choose Parricow instead of buying directly from the market? The traditional process can mean finding a seller, negotiating a price, inspecting the cattle, arranging transportation, finding someone to slaughter and process it, and coordinating everything yourself. Parricow is built to simplify that experience. You get one point of contact for your cattle purchase, with online ordering, sourcing, processing, and delivery coordinated around your needs.
- What if I’m not available to supervise everything myself? That’s exactly the kind of stress we want to remove. You shouldn’t have to spend your event week travelling to markets, negotiating with sellers, arranging transportation, finding someone to slaughter the cattle, and worrying about whether everything will arrive as planned.
- How much does cattle cost? There isn’t one fixed price. Price depends on factors such as size, market conditions, location, processing requirements, and delivery arrangements. Once we understand what you need, we’ll provide the relevant pricing and explain what is included in your order.
- How far in advance should I order? The earlier, the better. We recommend placing your order as early as possible (at least 2 weeks before the event), especially for weddings, burials, naming ceremonies, birthdays, and other events with fixed dates.
- Can Parricow handle slaughtering?Yes. We coordinate the slaughtering of your cattle so you don’t have to start looking for different people to do that.
